Metrolina Statistics:

153k Children are at risk of hunger every day

493k individuals are living in poverty across our 24-county service area

73k Seniors in our service area are living in poverty

 

Food Bank Statistics:

The Food Bank works with 950+ community-based, nonprofit partners that directly distribute food to neighbors in 24 counties across the Metrolina region.

In Fiscal Year 2024-2025, the Food Bank distributed almost 90 million pounds of food and household items. Over 54 million pounds of our annual distribution were foods high in nutritional value including fresh produce, meat, and dairy.

Fiscal year 2024-2025 brought a record 336,000 volunteer hours which equates to 161 full-time positions.

19% of the food we distribute comes from government commodities
